Success in business
Kim has worked for Booz, Allen Hamilton as a Strategic Planning consultant to governmental and private organizations; as the CIO of a Telecom startup business and now his own home remodeling company for the past 24 years. This after serving for 25 years in the U.S. Navy, retiring as a Senior Chief Electricians Mate - Submarine Service.
Service Before Self
Kim can be found throughout the city helping with many community projects. Above, he and others spent many hours (days really) constructing the Lake Stevens Community Garden at Eagle Ridge Park. As a member of the council Kim was instrumental in the purchase of this property and the Parks Master Plan that created the Community Garden, one of the largest in the county.
Regional Reach
Kim is active in the region as well as his community. From PSRC committees to Community Transit Board of Directors and many transportation policy committees. Having thoughtful dialog with others is the key to making good policy decisions. Partnerships in the region strengthen our own community.
